Idea Development

The development of my design surrounds the shape of the front and rear wings in a selection of Boyd's hotrods and shapes in Radenburgh's work such as the images above.

I wasn’t entirely happy with my first attempt at creating the design in Pro Engineer, I thought the central section was about there, but the outer arches needed to be more sweeping with fatter arches. These were easily altered by increasing the trajectory and the size of the ellipse used to create them.  Then the desired sense of movement, along with the art deco look, I think was achieved.
